The Bank of America Chicago Marathon started and ended in downtown Chicago around Grant Park. A total of 86 family and friends came together that morning to raise funds for The James F. Mikulski Memorial Group by way of providing information to runners and spectators along Michigan Avenue before and during the race. First shift (49 volunteers) arrived around 4:30am to help for four hours while second shift (37 volunteers) arrived around 9:30am to help for four hours.
